First established as Hepworth coal merchants in 1910 providing a cost-effective and reliable service to the local community. In 1990 Muktubs was created to run alongside the coal industry servicing the ever growing demand for sustainable waste management and skip hire services.
The idea behind the business was to provide a quality, affordable and reliable skip hire, waste management and aggregate service within the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire region. Over the past 30 years’ the regions serviced by Muktubs have grown to include the Peak District, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, but still adopting our attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
The business now offers a range of waste management services across the region including asbestos removal, home clearance, land clearance, demolition and the supply of recycled aggregates.
We have been a part of the local community for over 100 years’ and hope to remain so for many years to come.

Sustainability
At Muktubs we are committed to a greener and more sustainable business. Every skip we empty is done so under our meticulous sorting processes. We screen soil and crush down concrete to produce aggregate and look for recyclable goods that can be reused where possible.
Landfill for any of the waste we bring in is always the last resort!
